Choosing Your Film

Recruiting Video, Match Coverage or NIL Content?

Volleyball recruiting moves fast, especially in club season. Here is what each kind of volleyball video is for.

Recruiting Highlight Video

Best for: Club and high school players building a recruiting profile ahead of college camps and showcases.

Match & Tournament Coverage

Cinematic coverage of a match, a club tournament or a full event, cut into recaps and clips for players, programs and organizers.

Best for: Club programs, high school and college teams, and tournament organizers.

NIL & Brand Content

Campaign content for brands partnering with volleyball athletes, built to read as both athletic and lifestyle.

Best for: College athletes with brand partners, and brands activating volleyball talent.

What a Volleyball Recruiting Video Needs

  1. Lead with your strongest skill. Many coaches decide in the first 20–30 seconds whether to keep watching.
  2. Make it obvious which player you are. A circle or arrow before each rally, especially in crowded net play.
  3. Organize clips by skill for your position. Attacks and blocks for hitters and middles, location and tempo for setters, passing and serve-receive for liberos and DS.
  4. Include a few full rallies. Coaches want to see your footwork, transition and effort when the ball is not yours.
  5. Open with a title card. Name, class, position, height, standing reach, approach and block touch, club team, school, GPA and contact info.
