Choosing a location around Indianapolis
Most of our senior sessions happen across the Indianapolis area and central Indiana. A few general rules help:
- Parks and green space give soft, natural backgrounds and work well for casual looks.
- Downtown and urban backdrops — brick, murals, architecture — suit a more editorial, dressed-up look.
- A field, court or gym is the natural place for sport shots with your jersey and gear. Check with your school or the venue about access first.
- Somewhere meaningful to you often makes the best pictures of all.

When should I schedule senior pictures?
Most seniors shoot in the summer before or the fall of senior year, so photos are back in time for yearbook deadlines and graduation announcements. Check your school's yearbook deadline first and book a few weeks ahead of it.
Can my sport be part of my senior pictures?
Yes. Sports venues are one of the locations we shoot at, and sport is where Mack Media started. Bring your jersey, ball or gear and we will build part of the session around it, alongside the casual and dressed-up looks.
