What actually drives the cost

The single biggest factor is how many people are on your day. Photography-only coverage needs one shooter; adding a cinematic film means a second person present the whole day plus the edit time a film takes afterwards. Everything else — drone, extra reels, engagement sessions — sits on top of that. We quote each wedding individually, so tell us your date and venue and we will put it in writing.

Cinematic or documentary?

Cinematic means dramatic editing, music and colour grading — it feels like a film. Documentary means capturing the day as it unfolds, without staging. Most couples think they have to choose. We shoot both: documentary honesty in the coverage, cinematic craft in the edit, so you get real moments that still look like cinema.

When to book

Six to twelve months out, and earlier for peak season between May and October. We are currently taking 2026 and 2027 dates. Booking earlier does not usually get you a better price, but it does get you the date, which matters more.

Questions worth asking any videographer

• Who is actually shooting my day — the person I am talking to, or someone else?
• When will I get everything back, in writing?
• Can I see one complete film rather than a highlight reel of highlight reels?
• What happens if you are ill on the day?
